5 Things To Consider For Your Essex Wedding Entertainment.

Your Essex Wedding Entertainment

Hello! I’m Tracy. If you’re currently knee-deep in Pinterest boards and colour swatches, I hope you’re enjoying every second of it! Planning a wedding is such a special time, and as a wedding singer based right here in Colchester, I know just how lucky we are to have so many beautiful places to say “I do” in our lovely county. Like Seckford Hall for example, a beautiful venue that I love to sing at!

Music has a way of tucking memories away for us to find later. When you’re thinking about your Essex wedding entertainment, here are five little things to keep in mind to ensure your day feels exactly as you’ve always imagined.

1. Think About the “Feeling” of Each Moment

Music is like the ribbon that ties your whole day together. You might want something soft and delicate for your ceremony, perhaps a favourite ballad as you walk down the aisle, and then something a bit more upbeat and sparkly for your drink’s reception. Thinking about the mood of each chapter of your day helps the music feel seamless.

2. Finding a Personal Connection

Your wedding is the most personal day of your life, so your entertainment should be, too! I always think it’s so lovely when couples choose songs that mean something to their own story. Quite often I get asked to sing a song deeply personal to the happy couple and I love it! This is their Essex wedding entertainment, their special day and anything I can do to make it even better, I will!

Tip: Don’t be afraid to ask your singer if they can learn a song that is close to your heart; those are often the most magical moments of the whole day.

3. Making Your Guests Feel at Home

Whether you’re hosting your day in a grand manor or a cozy rustic woodland setting, your Essex wedding entertainment is there to welcome your guests. A live performance adds such a warm, human touch. It helps people relax, chat, and settle in while you’re off having your photos taken!

4. Chatting with Your Venue

We are so spoiled for choice with venues in Essex! From the rolling fields to our historic halls, every space is different. It’s always a good idea to check if your venue has any specific requirements for live music. Most of us local suppliers are very used to working with our lovely Essex venues and can help handle the “techy” bits for you, so you don’t have to worry. If I am lucky enough to be the live singers for your Essex wedding entertainment, simply connect me with your venue and I will work directly with them to help you get back to planning the rest of your day!

5. Choosing someone who cares

When you book your entertainment, you’re inviting someone to be a part of your most precious memories. Look for someone who is just as excited about your wedding as you are! I feel so lucky every time I get to witness a couple’s big day, it’s a real privilege to add a little bit of song and sparkle to such a beautiful occasion.
